“I’VE SIGNED THE CONTRACT”

Some of you know him, some of you worked with him, some of you said good morning to each other every morning.

Adam was an expert in IT for 20 years until he was laid off in another series of layoffs that hit his division.

He didn’t know what to do. He was in trouble and reached out for help.

I’ve worked to transform his resume, and rebuild his faith in himself.

IN A FEW WEEKS WE ACHIEVED THE DREAM.

The one short sentence that sums it all up: “I’ve signed the contract”!

In only a few weeks Avi received a new position, 30% increase in salary, and a big smile on his face.

Here’s the full story:

Adam worked for 20 years in a global IT organization until he was fired.

The layoffs may not have come as a surprise, because quite a few people were laid off in that organization, but when they arrived it was stressful, especially for a family man whose income depended mainly on him.

The challenge was that for 20 years he had no resume, no job interview, and no need to present his skills to strangers.

The fear began to seep into Adam ‘s ability to find a new position.

He was concerned about his age, he was used to working for one company for a long time,

and he obviously had a lack of familiarity with the job market.

Adam reached out to me and we started by updating his resume.

From there we defined Adam’s next role, we created an excellent personal brand (a very modest one, to fit his personality) and we set off.

The results were almost immediate: 3 job offers within only a few weeks.

They were all excellent.

Adam chose the best position,

the one that fit best in terms of job description, status, work environment, and salary.

Here’s my big tip for you, on the way to finding a new job.
