Ever wonder why some people seem to excel effortlessly while others struggle?
What makes some people so naturally good at what they do? Are they simply luckier than others?
Last week I "celebrated" 9 months since the accident which caused me change life perspectives.
I usually look at both sides of the coin. After breaking my jaw (Mandibular fracture), there were some immediate and long terms changes in my daily routines, which prompted me to consider new possibilities.
Simple things like talking or smiling were very challenging back then, and I needed to focus on the positive side of the coin in order to gain control over my life.
In order to do so, I contemplated all the things that I actually HAVE control over, realized my options, and gave myself a chance to accept the change.
I focused on my ZONE OF GENIOUS. This is where your greatest passion meets your natural talent, so you can do things that come easily to you.

.
It's still a work in progress, but look at me, I can actually smile!😉

I came up with a few ideas that might help you promote your Inner Zone of Genius and unlock your full potential:
1. Learning to trust your WHY. Consciously identifying and follow choices that align directly with what keeps you fulfilled longer term.
2. Focusing on your strongest SKILLSET. Once you have identified your strengths you learn to leverage them, and work towards professional goals that complement them. It also helps you to identify and grow the strengths of others.
3. Be OBJECTIVE about the situation. You don't have endless options, but you do have many options that can be right for you. It requires forming a new pattern and changing life habits.
4. Be committed to your Zone of Genius, meaning spend most of your time on making the most of inherent abilities and skillset.
Looking back, I reframed this event as a chance to do what I always wanted.
Now it's your turn!
Draw inspiration from your own life journey and use the events to renovate yourself.
